Jon & Kyla get married

Ok, so I know I swore I'd never do a wedding.  But good ol' Jon here is a friend of mine from EIGHTH grade.  So I took photos for him and his gorgeous bride, Kyla.  The venue was great, too!  It was Vintage Villas on Lake Travis.  Anyway, I can totally point you to someone who's actually in the business of photographing weddings.  I was pretty much pooping my pants from nervousness, but it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience.  Best wedding I've ever attended.  They're really a wonderful couple.  Oh, and are those not the coolest bridal shoes ever??  Here are some of my faves from the night.

Brudders.

I got to see the older of these two boys when he was a newborn, and his parents brought me his baby brother the other day!  He wasn't happy for most of the session, poor little thing!  His parents didn't think we got anything.  But then he started falling asleep.  How precious!

Gorgeous newborn!

You'll probably recognize Big Sister from my site.  But this little baby boy is just as gorgeous as she is.  I'm so glad to have met him.  *sigh*

Blue, blue, blue

This is another little guy that I've seen a couple of times in my studio, but this was the first time I went to his home.  His room rocks!!  And his eyes aren't so bad, either.

Three-for-one!

I've seen this family twice before, and this time I went to their gorgeous home!  The big brother is adjusting nicely to the little brother.  And the little girl at the end is the one I get to photograph on my birthday trip to Chicago in April!  I love my job.

Darling baby girl

This little gem is the daughter of one of my bridesmaids.  They dropped by at around the 3-week mark.  Isn't she a doll?

Sylvia Benitez gallery exhibit!

Full-disclosure:  Sylvia Benitez is my step-mama, and Charles Ditto is my Daddoo.  But, that doesn't mean they aren't great!  Sylvia's gallery show will run from February 10-March 6 at Texas State University, in the Joann Cole Mitte building (Gallery II).  The exhibit includes an original score by Charles (whose music also appears on my Web site).  There's an opening reception on Feb. 10th, from 5-7 p.m.  Our little family will be in attendance, so come join us!
