Sneak peek from this morning's wildflower mini | Austin children's photographer

I'm not the sneak-peek type, but I just couldn't help it, since these are so timely. These two darlings came out and braved the tall vegetation for these wildflower photos this morning. It's not easy to lug that big ol'chair to that spot, so I really do need to schedule these sessions back-to-back. I think the wildflower field will be changing and blooming for at least another month or two. Bluebonnets, on the other hand, are short-lived. I'm doing WF minis tonight, April 6th, and I still have the 6:00 and 6:30 slots open. I'm also doing them Saturday, April 10th, and I still have 5:30 and 7:00 open. If you want BLUEBONNETS ONLY, let's talk about times for those, in the next week or so, before they start looking scraggly. I use a different field for bluebonnets ONLY, and it's a much easier place to get to. CALL ME FOR AVAILABILITY!! 538.0866.

Rebecca & Benton | Austin wedding photographer {I can't believe I just typed that}

I don't shoot weddings, right?? Apparently, I do. Rebecca and Benton asked, and I accepted. This couple is absolutely adorable, and it's so obvious they love each other like crazy.

Benton does origami, and he MADE that bouquet. How awesome is that? I love the hairspray shot.

Dwayne Hills of www.dhillsphotography.com was my "second shooter." We had a blast!

Their sweet doggies had the run of the place, and they definitely wanted to get in on that ceremony action.

House on the Hill had so many adorable places for couples photos!

I LOVE the way Rebecca's bridals came out. Isn't she gorgeous?

Great hair, great eyes. What an awesome look for a newborn baby. I do hope I get to see him grow! He was so alert through the whole session. I think he's a genius.

Look at these two darling little girls!! I have photographed big sis and her mama a couple of times, and I was so excited when they brought me the new baby, who just so happens to look EXACTLY like her big sister. Oh, and check out those little toes!! They're almost edible.

Introducing Mackenzie Reed! {archive post: September 2009}

This gorgeous young actress used her Groupon coupon for a headshot session. We ended the session by setting up a strobe on the deck at her apartment building. She's so much fun!

WILDFLOWERS!! | Austin children's photographer

Yay!! My other old spot is coming into its own right now. There are all kinds of flowers there, and it's just gorgeous. Tell me who's interested in minis, and we'll get it set up. There are even bluebonnets in that spot. Love it. Be aware, it's very, very deep. Parent's should plan on carrying their children through the field and should wear PANTS AND BOOTS. It's so worth it, though.
